We are currently looking for a Data Analyst (f/m/div) for our HQ in Berlin. The role is set to enhance, extend and expand the knowledge of product performance and heighten our understanding of the end customers through data. Delivering powerful insights across the company through dashboards, reports and analyses.

About your new role:

We are looking for an experienced data analyst who is proficient with SQL, developing intuitive dashboards in Tableau or similar, wrangling data and data driven.

You have a passion for both data and business and have a nose for details. Your primary focus will be on developing dashboards that provide insights to key stakeholders across the company, create ad-hoc analysis and reports, optimize data related processes. You will be part of the Data Analytics House and be an active participant and an integral piece in shaping the Data Culture within Penta. You will be reporting to the Data House Lead.

You are committed to collaboration within the team and across departments, are a problem solver, like challenges but love finding solutions even more.

What we expect from you:

  • Minimum 3 years working as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence analyst or similar role
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, preferably PostgreSQL
  • Expertise building dashboards and running analyses with – Tableau, Power BI or similar
  • Bachelors or Masters, preferably in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Analytics or Business or Finance related discipline
  • High analytical skills; ability to clean, scrutinize and investigate data and translate it into meaningful reports, insights and high-level information
  • Strong communication skills in English – both written and verbal, including the ability to clearly articulate messages
  • Self-starter and team player able to work under high levels of pressure through challenging deadlines

Job requirements

Nice to have

  • Experience working in Fintech, Payments or similar
  • Coding experience with Python, R and data wrangling packages
  • Experience with Github/Gitlab
